September Bullet Journal Spreads (2022)

Bullet journal September page with colorful leaves

If you haven't noticed, this month's theme is 'nature'.

When I came to Swarthmore, I was inspired by the different trees and flowers that I could see around campus on a daily basis. In Crum Woods, I saw mushrooms growing on trees, which gave me an idea for the weekly spread for Week 36.

I took a few photos on my polaroid camera, and they came out really well (Week 37), so I thought, hey, it would be cool to have my weekly spread look like polaroid photos! I also saw some lovely blooms of flowers on trees that decorated my path to my dorm (they were pink, though), which became the starting point for Week 38.

The idea for Week 39 was prompted by the sheer amount of 'green' I saw every day. The grassy Parrish 'beach', the tall trees that make a path for you on the way to Lang Performing Arts Center, the houseplant I got on the third day of orientation at the Scott Arboretum, etc. just makes me feel so good about walking around campus. I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know the names of the plants, too.
