Taking Risks

Sometimes, you have to take a leap of faith in order for things to work out. But how?

taking risks

The key to breaking free from your 'safe-zone' and venturing into a risky, uncharted area in life is to believe in yourself.

It may sound cliched, but I'm sure people say this because it actually helps you. Never, EVER think that your safe-zone is the best you can do, because you can only develop when you try a little harder. Also, don't get used to being in your safe-zone, as it will demotivate your spirits.

I used to get really nervous when I was out of my safe-zone and hated taking risks. But I found out that I wasn't improving any of my skills by playing it safe. I told myself,

You are NOT to be satisfied with what you have now.

This helped me to step out of where I felt comfortable. Of course, I couldn't be taking risks all the time -- then there wouldn't be a point in achieving my goal. So I took a risk every time my head told me that I couldn't do something, because I wasn't good enough. I took it as a challenge and that helped me to accomplish my goals.

This week, why not take a leap of faith?
