Looking Back On 2016

2016 is almost ending! Let's make the most of what's left of it!

Achievements:

- Creating this blog!

I'm so glad that I made this blog -- it really helped me to keep track of my life and the memories that came with it.

- Becoming more confident

I could never rule this one out in one of my greatest accomplishments. I've truly become a different person with so much more potential after being more confident.

- Helping out in the household

This one was quite a big deal for me, because this meant that I was now mature enough to actually contribute to my house. And it makes you feel great when you're helping your family out!

Memorable Moments:

- Getting the best grade possible

Did I ever get round to tell you that I managed to get top grades (I mean TOP grades) for my term reports? I'm really glad that I was rewarded for the effort I put into my school work.

- WSC Global Round

This was such an amazing experience for me. Bangkok's culture itself and the tournament was really cool and I wish I could do it again.

- Meeting Serena

I could have named this moment 'going to CTY', but as great as the camp was, the best part was meeting Serena, who I still keep in touch (like, everyday).

- Christmas Day

This year's Christmas was EPIC! I fell in love with archery (after watching the Disney/Pixar movie 'Brave') and my parents managed to get me a bow and arrow with a quiver! Now I know what I'm going to do over winter break.

Regrets:

- Being conscious of others

Although 2016 was the year I really became confident, I still couldn't shake off my old habit of being conscious of how others will think of me. I sincerely hope to change this.

- Not being able to go to the Champion Round

Our team did great in the Global round, but I guess it wasn't enough for the Champion Round. If I get another chance at WSC in the future, I'll study even harder to reach the final round.

- Time management

My time management wasn't the best, to be honest. I got distracted quite easily, and even though I always finished my homework on time, I used up all my spare time aimlessly playing games or procrastinating. Next year, I'll make sure to do something proactive during my spare time!

This is (probably) the last post of 2016. See you next year!
